"Cliff's vision, both personally and creatively, lies in his ability
to help a person or actor achieve a greater clarity and depth of feeling both in his work and in
the approach in a time when the creative process is being eroded in the arts by economics. As a
dramatist, Mr. Osmond's process is an invaluable experience because of his immense dedication to
story analysis and by focusing on strict obedience to the author's intention. Cliff maximizes the
actor's self-expression and eliminates any emotional barriers or inabilities in achieving that
expression. Whether you are interested in personal or characterological motivation as an actor,
writer or director, attending Mr. Osmond's class will be a provocative experience. I have used
him as a mentor countless times, and he is always an illumination." Armand Assante Actor |

"I first started taking Cliff's scene study and acting workshop
in August of 1993. I had just won the San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition and
saw it as a 'necessary evil'; if I wanted to do a sitcom I would have to learn to act. I was a blank
slate with no "acting" experience. Ten years later, and more than a few television and movie
appearances, and hundreds of voice over acting jobs, I am still enjoying the class. Cliff doesn't
teach acting in the 'methodology' sense. He teaches human behavior, which brings out what is real
and honest in any actor, regardless of their level of experience. We are taught to fight for a goal
and to use any tactics available to attain that goal. This brings out the emotional rage and physical
behavior we were not yet aware of. I have never seen a teacher with such a passion for the craft --
yet, because Cliff is egoless; the class never borders on preachy. The class is never about 'Cliff' --
it's about the actors, exactly what an acting class should be. I look forward to many more years
of learning... about myself!” Carlos Alazraqui Actor/Comedian/Writer |

"I keep coming to Cliff for training because he's fun and I know
he will not B.S. me. He acknowledges my breakthroughs and tactfully tells me if I'm stinking up
the place. When I finally landed a recurring role on a sitcom, Cliff watched my performance and
said, 'That was easier than my class wasn't it?' It was." Robert Hawkins Actor/Comedian/Writer |

"If you want to be a good screenwriter, the best class you can
possibly take is an acting class. That's right. Acting... I learned more in acting class than I
ever did in writing class... As far as specific workshops, I can only speak to the Los Angeles
or San Francisco area and I would strongly recommend Cliff Osmond. I personally trained with
Cliff for a couple of years, and he offered extraordinary insights into the craft. He's not
dogmatic. His approach is logical and pragmatic. He has impressive credits and he's worked with
(and trained) more than his share of working actors and a couple of big names. More importantly,
he's a writer, so he'll be able to slant his program toward your individual goals and level of
skill." Daniel Knauf Writer |

"Cliff isn't just a media acting teacher. He is as good a basic
acting teacher as I've seen work... an uncanny eye for truth. I've seen him work with dozens of
actors in a variety of teaching situations and he has always been able to help the actor find a
key to realizing a moment or focus on a crucial problem in the actor's approach to a role. I
highly recommend him as an acting teacher." Charles J. Helfert Theatre Division Southern Methodist University |

"More than any other acting teacher I have seen at work, he is
able to understand where a person is in his development and build on that... He is extremely
generous with his time when he perceives that an actor is sincerely at work... He is a sane,
talented, warm human being who gives his years of experience in television, film and theatre
in ways that benefit the actors without concern about aggrandizing himself... He is the most
skillful acting teacher I have seen in my twenty years of studying, teaching and performing
theatre. I enthusiastically recommend him." James R. Miller, Ph.D. Chairman, Drama Department Sam Houston State University |

"Cliff has helped me grow, not only as an actor, but also as a
person. Because of Cliff, I feel I can approach any role honestly and create my best work. He
is a marvel." Fred Pitts Actor |

"Cliff's unique combination of experience, his exquisite clarity,
and absolute love for the craft of acting and his students make him a joy to be around. I am inspired
every time I work with him." Jon McPhalen Actor/Writer/Director |

"...an acting guru! ...an actor’s library in the flesh." Brett Brock Actor |

"Thank you so much for making a trip to Dallas to share your
knowledge -- I was blown away. You've obtained so much insight about acting that I'm grateful
that you share it with the rest of the world... I can't wait to see you again in January.
Thanks again, Cliff." Mindy Raymond Actress |

"I appreciate your insight, knowledge and experience. All of this
with a strong yet gentle command. Kind of like the jaws of a momma bear, who has the ability to
rip people to shreds only when the time is right; but when she holds the baby cub in her powerful,
razor sharp jaws, it is done with the love and warmth of a mother holding her new born. It is
very effective and I appreciate you." Randall Scott Actor/Writer/Producer |

"Coming to Cliff Osmond's class every week is like therapy for
me. I learn something new about myself and about the art of acting every single time I attend.
Cliff's strategy for teaching is the most honest and real that I have ever seen or experienced.
He gets right down to it and is completely honest about every move made. Any teacher or acting
coach could sit and lecture, but Cliff does not waste time on that. His class is constructed
so that each student gets a good work out every week and learns by doing rather than only
listening. I would recommend Cliff Osmond's class to any person who wants to become a better
actor and succeed in the entertainment industry." Bri Callahan Actress |
